Preparing for your Exam
- To ensure comfort, wear the complimentary GSH Executive Suit that was provided for you.
- If possible, please do not wear jewelry on the day of the exam. You will be asked to remove any metal objects that you may be wearing for some of the procedures. (A locker will be provided for your personal belongings.)
- Complete the Medical History Form that was sent with the preparation kit.
- Bring your GSH VIP Card (if member), proof of identification, and the credit card that you used to reserve the physical examination.
- Contact us immediately if you recently had a barium examination or have been injected with a contrast material for a computed tomography (CT) scan or radioisotope scan. You may have to wait 10 to 14 days before undergoing a DEXA test.
- Contact us if there is any possibility that you are pregnant. Many imaging tests are not performed during pregnancy because radiation can be harmful to the fetus.
- Women having a mammography cannot wear any powders, deodorants, or perfumes.
- To ensure that lab tests are accurate we recommend that you do not eat or drink at least 10-12 hours prior to your physical.
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled physical examination.
- 24 hours prior to your appointment, you will receive a call from the Executive Health Program Service Manager.
